Lacoste hooked up with French sneaker magazine Shoes-Up and they designed the Missouri model into a unique effort celebrating the spirit of France. Shoes-Up take inspiration from the iconic French beret's traditional wool fabrications, with the kicks implementing that same material throughout the uppers with black tonal detailing and a silky interior lining.
These kicks are extremely limited, only 160 pair have been made !
Included with the kicks will be a classic black Basque Beret and a 148 page "Beret" photograph book by Charles Levy, packaged in a unique hat box.

For those who missed the release on December 1st at Colette (Paris), Reed Space (New York), Dover Street Market (London) or Limited Edition (Barcelona), we got some good news...

Tarmak will be having 9 pairs for sale in January '09.

Nike SB "Made for Skate" Exhibition

To accompany the January 2009 release of the book "Made for Skate", throughout the month of December and a few days into January, Nike SB has set up an exclusive "Made for Skate" space. Outlining a number of different skate-relevant artifacts, a number of old school pieces are on hand for viewing. To also mark the event, a limited edition pair of modified Nike SB Blazers were created based on a 1979 Hobie classic.
These Nike SB "Made for Skate" Blazers, limited to 24 pairs worldwide, dropped on November 30th, so once again we went to Amsterdam for a new camp-out ! This time no pairs were kept aside for friends and family, even Nike employees had to line up, so we had more chance to grap a pair.

The limited Nike SB Made for Skate Blazer. One pair went to the exhibition, so only 23 pairs were for sale !

Ebay Charity Nike Dunk. This pair was auctioned off at a 2003 ASR event. The anonymous top bidder paid $ 30,000 and had a pair in his size sent to him. The pair seen at the auction was sawed into pieces in front of everyone, in order to keep the bidder's pair a "1:1" ratio.
